If you told me ten years ago that I would be teaching or even in the field of education, I would have said "Oh no, not me!". I never imagined myself teaching children. But as I matriculated through The Georgia Institute of Technology, I began to see my gift of teaching evolve as I tutored students at area middle schools and helped my peers.
When I met Dr. Ashlock in the APS public school system, I realized by then, I did desire to work with children in some capacity. I was with her when she started Solid Foundation and it has been a wonderful experience ever since. Around the same time Dr. Ashlock began Solid Foundation, a friend of mine and I began Success Prep, LLC an education consulting company. (www.GoGetPrep.com). We specialize in test preparation on all levels, including but not limited to the GHSGT, CRCT, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, and also in-home tutoring. I am able to use my knowledge of test preparation, including tips and strategies, to help prepare the students of Solid Foundation for standardized tests.
I genuinely love what I do. My passion is to help children, and people in general, reach their goals and full potential in life according to the will of God, not according to the limitations we put on ourselves or the limitations others may put on us.
